Drawings: Sentinels

The Sentinels series was started at the beginning of the pandemic (2019).  A friend had gifted me a giant box of large, thick paper which I used to create this series of pastel drawings. I set out to make large abstracted figures, all holding spears in their hands and standing at attention on a common ground. The resulting 100+ drawings in this series are also essentially experimentations in line, form and color.

Several of these are available as signed, print editions.
