welcome

Craig Stover has been creating works of fine art for over 20 years. His works are unique experiments in color, form and content. In 1999 the artist established his studio in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia (usa) and ever since has been welcoming guests to visit his studio. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions about the work and end up getting a unique experience that is very different from visiting a commercial gallery. The artist works with each guest to learn what they like and what interests them and then pulls a selection of works that he feels would be most interesting. Craig Stover 100 pictures

"It's a collosal piece of work, rich with delightful visual experiences and allusions to the world of modern art. "

Dr. Burton Wasserman , 2007

The highly anticipated art book: Craig Stover 100 pictures is now available. This beautiful edition highlights some of the most dynamic and colorful works of art to come from the artist's studio. Selected from a 10 year time frame, the 100 full-color reproductions give you a very clear picture of the wide variety of themes and artist favorites. Included are examples of The Three Graces, Adam and Eve, Saturn, and the popular Imaginary Botanicals series.

The story of Craig Stover, is one of passion: a passion for seeing, a passion for looking, and most of all, a passion for pictures. Craig Stover 100 pictures is the first definitive "retrospective" to show the evolution and diversity of Stover's prolific paintings, drawings, watercolors, and gouaches. The pieces were selected and organized by the artist himself and track Stover's lifelong experiments in ways of looking and depicting. Over the next year, many of the pictures in this book will be discussed in detail on the aritst's blog so those who own a copy will get a better idea of the artist's intent and learn about the secrets inside each artwork.
